PM Abdulla Aripov to visit Turkmenistan for CIS Council of Heads of Government meeting
On May 24, Ashgabat will host the meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Government.

According to the CIS Executive Committee, the meeting's agenda includes 12 issues. Traditionally, members of the council will exchange views on current economic cooperation topics within the Commonwealth countries in a narrow setting.
The proposed agenda for comprehensive discussion includes draft projects for a cooperation concept in the energy sector and a plan of priority measures for its implementation, as well as an Action Plan for optimizing infrastructure passing through the territories of CIS member states and developing international transport corridors.
Additionally, the meeting plans to adopt several documents related to cooperation in healthcare, the chemical industry, hazardous waste management, and combating intellectual property violations.
Another item on the Council of Heads of Government's agenda is to declare Ashgabat a new city of sports opportunities within the Commonwealth.
Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov of Uzbekistan is expected to participate in the session as the head of the government.
