Tashkent to host CIS Economic Council meeting in April
The latest meeting of the Commission on Economic Issues was held in Moscow, where several aspects of economic cooperation among the CIS member states were discussed.

During the session, a draft of the Comprehensive Measures to Attract and Stimulate the Development of Mutual Investments within the CIS until 2030 was reviewed. This initiative was proposed by Uzbekistan.
"The document aims to enhance cooperation in improving the investment climate, increase the flow of mutual foreign direct investments into the economies of CIS member states, and improve the efficiency of investment implementation," stated a report on the Commonwealth's official web portal. "The Comprehensive Measures are expected to be approved at the meeting of the CIS Economic Council scheduled for April 28, 2025, in Tashkent."
Additionally, the meeting reviewed the draft agenda for the Joint Session of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of CIS Member States to the Statutory and Other Bodies of the Commonwealth, along with the Commission, which is planned for March 25, 2025. The next regular meeting of the Commission is scheduled for April 15, 2025.
