Uzbekistan's private kindergarten fees among highest in the CIS
Uzbekistan has ranked 62nd out of 127 countries worldwide in terms of private kindergarten costs.

As of March 7, 2025, data from Numbeo shows that the average monthly fee for a private kindergarten in Uzbekistan is $295.3 per child. This places the country 62nd among 127 nations globally in terms of childcare costs.
Among CIS countries, private kindergarten fees are lower than in Uzbekistan in the following nations:
- Russia – $262.9
- Azerbaijan – $242.2
- Kazakhstan – $240.6
- Kyrgyzstan – $190.3
- Tajikistan – $104.3
Meanwhile, private kindergarten costs are higher in these CIS countries:
- Ukraine – $296.9
- Belarus – $299.3
- Armenia – $306.9
- Moldova – $372.3
Globally, the most expensive private kindergartens are found in Switzerland, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom, while the most affordable options are in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan.
Uzbekistan's affordable dining scene
At the beginning of 2025, Uzbekistan ranked 18th out of 139 countries in the food price index. The country was also identified as having the cheapest restaurant prices in the CIS. In the 2025 restaurant price index ranking, Uzbekistan secured 17th place among 139 nations. Additionally, the price of cappuccino in Uzbekistan ranked 15th cheapest among 126 countries.

Uzbekistan also stands out for its affordable clothing. The country ranked:
