Debts of economic entities worth 1.7 trillion soums written off
The debt totaling 1.7 trillion soums, which arose due to the application of financial sanctions against 2,144 economic entities of Uzbekistan, was written off.

According to the Tax Committee, from June 1, 2023, the amount of penalties accrued on overdue receivables from foreign economic operations of business entities will be written off, and judicial and enforcement proceedings related to the collection of these penalties will be terminated.
The maturity of receivables from foreign trade operations will be recalculated from June 1, 2023.
As a result of the adoption of the presidential decree, consideration of claims received by economic courts for imposing fines of 2.5 trillion soums against 1,631 entities will be suspended.
The measures taken to impose a fine totaling 5.5 trillion soums in relation to 4,170 subjects have been suspended.
