Number of self-employed citizens in Uzbekistan reached 2.5 million people
Thanks to the legalization of illegal jobs, the number of income tax payers increased by 263.2 thousand – to 5.3 million people, the head of the information service of the Tax Committee, Dildora Khoshimova, reported.

It is noted that thanks to the legalization of illegal jobs, the number of income tax payers increased by 263.2 thousand people – up to 5.3 million people.
Also, the increase in wages made it possible to additionally collect personal income tax by 1.9 trillion soums.
Over the past year, about 90 thousand legal entities were registered, the total number of operating enterprises reached 570.4 thousand, more than 97 thousand citizens received the status of individual entrepreneurs, the total number of operating individual entrepreneurs reached 240.7 thousand.
The annual forecast of 163.8 trillion soums for 2023 for tax revenues was actually fulfilled by 165.9 trillion soums, that is, 2.1 trillion soums more.
