Uzbek national team ranked 1st at the Grand Prix Almaty
The Grand Prix Almaty on Taekwondo open cup took place in Kazakhstan. Athletes from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan attended this tournament.
103 compatriot sportsmen headed by Husniddin Kurbanov and Konstantin Klimov defended the honor of Uzbekistan.
In the overall team standings in terms of the amount of gold and the number of athletes, Uzbekistan won the first place, the second and third places were taken by Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan respectively.
Among the teams of Uzbekistan, the team "EDEN SPORT" led by Doniyor Salamov took part. From this team, 17 athletes participated by the special program of technics, teul and sparring.
Consequently, the Uzbek athletes won 6 gold, 6 silver and 8 bronze medals.
