Alisher Usmanov’s former residence in Germany on sale
A luxurious villa on the shores of Lake Tegernsee in the Bavarian Alps, where Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov lived for an extended period, has been put up for sale due to the debts of the offshore company Tegernsee (IOM) Limited, according to Münchner Merkur.

The villa is listed for an initial asking price of €25 million, making it the most expensive property ever featured on the real estate aggregator Immowelt, which has been tracking property sales in Germany since 1996.
The villa has been managed by Tegernsee (IOM) Limited, registered in the Isle of Man, since 2011.
During his stay, Usmanov rented the villa from this company for €77,000 per week. However, after the onset of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, he was placed under European Union sanctions and was forced to leave the property.
The villa is now being sold by bankruptcy trustee Ulrich Cramer, based on a court order.
Cramer explained that the insolvency was caused by the fact that “the debtor’s assets primarily consist of real estate, which, of course, cannot be used to settle outstanding financial obligations.”
The three-story villa spans 735 square meters and sits on a 4,700-square-meter plot along the shores of Lake Tegernsee. It features four bedrooms and bathrooms across the upper two floors, as well as a 750-square-meter spa area and a 20-meter swimming pool.
