Russian employee of Enter Engineering recovers unpaid salary

Ilya Puts, a Russian national who oversaw the modernization project at the Fergana Oil Refinery, successfully recovered $57,000 in unpaid wages after filing a complaint with the Chilonzor District Employment Department. Enter Engineering, the company he worked for, has faced repeated criticism for its failure to pay employees on time, prompting numerous workers to seek assistance from the media.

According to the Ministry of Employment, on January 13, Ilya Puts, an employee of Enter Engineering, requested help from the Chilonzor District Employment Department to recover his unpaid wages from June to November 2024.

“The appeal was investigated according to the established procedures, and the employee successfully recovered $57,000 in unpaid wages and settlement funds,” the statement said.

According to the company’s website, Ilya Puts was in charge of the reconstruction and modernization project at the Fergana Oil Refinery.

It’s important to note that many employees of Enter Engineering have frequently complained about the company’s failure to pay salaries on time.

In November 2024, employees directly or indirectly associated with the company contacted Kun.uz, stating that their salaries had been unpaid for several months.

“Our salaries have been missing since May. Only a small portion for May, June, and July—around 2-3 million each—was paid. What can that do for someone with a family? Salaries for August, September, and October are still unpaid. If you're even a day late on a state loan, there’s a penalty. But no one cares that our wages have been unpaid for months,” the appeal stated.

For context, Enter Engineering was founded in 2012 and was previously under the control of Gazprombank. The company specializes in services related to the design, delivery, construction, and commissioning of oil and gas, industrial, and civil infrastructure projects.
