Gov’t introduces new measures to support low-income families through subsidies and employment initiatives

In 300 particularly disadvantaged districts, solar photovoltaic power stations with capacities ranging from 180 to 500 kW will be established through cooperation.

From April 1, 2025, to January 1, 2028, newly established agricultural and medicinal plant growing and processing cooperatives will benefit from a 1% rate for both social taxes and income taxes on individuals hired by these cooperatives.

Subsidies of up to 10 times the base calculation unit will be allocated to members of low-income households listed in the registry, to be contributed as shares to the charter funds of agricultural cooperatives.

By December 1, 2025, a creative industries cluster will be established based at the Tashkent College of Labor Management and Occupational Safety.

At vocational training centers:

•  Starting from February 1, 2025, a targeted training system will be introduced to prepare the unemployed, including members of low-income households, for in-demand professions in the labor market, based on the needs of employers and clients of commercial banks;
•  Starting from March 1, 2025, a digital monitoring system for vocational education and employment processes will be implemented;
•  Starting from April 1, 2025, training courses will be offered in 12 new vocational fields.
