The decision for the construction of the "China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan" railway was signed by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Akylbek Japarov, according to a report from 24.kg.
This document regulates the transformation of land in the city of Jalalabad for the international project. The decision involves transferring 44.29 hectares of land from the agricultural and water fund categories to the category of "industrial, transport, communications, energy, defense, and other purposes." This includes 36.55 hectares of irrigated arable land, 7.54 hectares of dryland, and 0.2 hectares of wetlands.
The Jalalabad city administration has been tasked with amending land registration documents, facilitating the exchange of private agricultural land for equivalent plots from the state agricultural fund, and approving urban planning documents in accordance with the law. In cases of improper use or illegal appropriation of land, the plots will be revoked.
