The number of taxi aggregators that have been integrated with the information systems of tax committees has reached 142, the Tax Committee reported.
Of these, 136 companies connected to the databases from May to mid-August. In April, only 6 taxi services, including Yandex Go and Uklon, had a permanent connection with the tax authority systems.
The total amount of fiscal receipts as of August 15 was 3 trillion UZS. The average cost of a trip was 18,003 UZS.
Since the beginning of the year, 166 million trips have been made through aggregators, with only 18.3 million (11% of the total) occurring in the first two months. About 75% of them were paid in cash, while only a quarter of payments were made via bank cards.
According to the department, 361 thousand self-employed drivers are currently working with aggregators, or twice as many as in March. More than a third (142.6 thousand) are citizens under 30 years of age.
The monthly income of every third driver does not exceed 1 million UZS. Another 104 thousand taxi drivers receive 1-5 million UZS. About 2% (7.6 thousand) earn over 50 million UZS per month, and for 171 people it exceeded 100 million UZS.
In total, as of mid-August, there are 576.1 thousand self-employed people in the passenger transportation sector in Uzbekistan, or 46 thousand more than at the beginning of July. Since the beginning of the year, this figure has almost doubled.
