Republic of Korea appoints a new ambassador to Uzbekistan
Won Do Yeon became the new Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Uzbekistan. On Friday, he presented copies of his credentials to the FM Bakhtiyor Saidov.

The appointment took place on the eve of the visit to Uzbekistan of the President of the Republic of Korea, Yoon Seok Yeol. It is scheduled for June 13-15.
During the conversation between the minister and the ambassador, the upcoming summit of the heads of the two states, the implementation of joint projects and “the creation of new growth points in traditionally close ties” between the countries were discussed, the head of the MAFA said on its Telegram channel.
For information, from March 2022 to March this year, Kim Hee-sang was the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Tashkent.
