“We welcomed the recently arrived Ambassador of Mongolia to Uzbekistan H.E. Daadanhuu Batbaatar and accepted copies of his credentials. Our agenda today included a schedule of upcoming contacts at the highest level, issues of developing economic diplomacy, developing joint promising projects, promoting closer cooperation in all areas. We wish Mr. Ambassador success during his mission to Uzbekistan,” the head of the MFA of Uzbekistan wrote on his Telegram channel.
Daadanhuu Batbaatar replaced Dorj Bayarhuu, who presented his credentials to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2022 as the Ambassador of Mongolia to Uzbekistan with residence in Astana.
It should be recalled that on March 8, 2023, after negotiations with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Batmunkh Battsetseg in the city of Tashkent, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram channel: “We welcome the decision to open the Embassy of Mongolia in Uzbekistan. In recent years, Uzbek-Mongolian bilateral relations have shown positive dynamics in all areas without exception”.
Recently, the press service of the leader of our country announced that on June 23-26, at the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh will arrive in Uzbekistan on a state visit.
