President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting in Namangan with the participation of governors of Namangan, Andijan and Fergana regions and officials of the economic complex.

It discussed measures to increase the income of the population by using the opportunities in the yards and households based on the Saykhonabad experience.

Valley regions are densely populated. Every inch of land is valuable. Agriculture, craftsmanship and entrepreneurship are well developed. At the same time, there are unemployed and needy people in mahallas. The head of state said that it is necessary to pay special attention to such people, provide organizational-financial support and ensure their employment. For this, all those responsible should establish a system that works closely with each enterprise, entrepreneur and household.

Therefore, the administrations and all economic office employees are attached to the mahallas. They will visit households and analyze their possibilities.

For example, if a resident has a garden, they will create a model for effective use of it, increasing his income to 60-70 million soums. Support for raw materials, equipment and working capital will be provided to those who are interested in handicrafts. If there is a desire for entrepreneurship, business projects will be given.

It was pointed out that commercial banks should be active in this regard. That is, they should, first of all, support the creation of additional jobs on the basis of enterprises that are their customers.

In addition, the state allocates large resources to banks. They should be directed to local population initiatives and serve employment.

These funds will ultimately return to the economy through new jobs, additional products, and purchasing power of the population.

The task was to organize small processing plants in households, to train people to produce products, and to expand cooperation and home farming.

It was emphasized that it is possible to bring blessings to households by growing and exporting colorful fruits and vegetables in farms and lands allocated for agriculture, livestock, poultry, fishery, and beekeeping.
