Individual detained in Tashkent region for attempting to sell counterfeit $10 thousand for 85 million soums
During the arrest, it was found out that the citizen was carrying a considerable amount of counterfeit dollars.

During an operative event held in the Urtachirchik district, citizen I.O. was detained at the time of selling counterfeit money, the press service of the PGO Department for Combating Economic Crimes reported.
It is noted that the detainee tried to sell counterfeit $10 thousand for 85 million soums.
Reportedly, in addition to the indicated amount, I.O. had 27 more counterfeit banknotes with a face value of $100.
On the above fact, a criminal case was initiated under Article 176 of the Criminal Code (Manufacture, sale of counterfeit money, excise stamps or securities). An investigation is underway.
