Uzbekistan Airports leadership changes
Javlonbek Umarhojaev has become the new head of JSC Uzbekistan Airports.

The Ministry of Transport reported that the employment contract concluded with the chairperson of JSC Uzbekistan Airports Rano Juraeva has been canceled.
"According to the relevant decision of shareholders of the company, the employment contract concluded with Rano Juraeva has been canceled. During two and a half years of leadership, Rano Juraeva managed to implement major changes in the company.
In particular, efforts to develop airport infrastructure, improve the company's management system, and recover financial and economic indicators have yielded positive results," the press service of the ministry said.
Javlonbek Umarkhojaev has replaced Juraeva as acting chairman of Uzbekistan Airports JSC.
Rano Juraeva was appointed as the head of the company in February 2021. Before that, she worked in leadership positions in the aviation sector in Russia for many years. In September 2022, the agreement with her was extended for three years.
