Minister of Internal Affairs becomes Chairman of Uzbekistan’s Volleyball Federation
Aziz Tashpulatov has been appointed to a new leadership role.

The Minister of Internal Affairs, Aziz Tashpulatov, has been elected Chairman of the Volleyball Federation of Uzbekistan, according to the Ministry of Sports' press service.
The announcement was made during an extraordinary conference of the federation, held at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
As part of the event, the Ministry of Internal Affairs Cup volleyball tournament was also launched. The competition will be held within the framework of the “Five Initiatives Olympics” — a nationwide youth sports initiative.
Aziz Tashpulatov was appointed Minister of Internal Affairs in early March this year. Prior to that, he served as the head of the Tashkent City Police Department.
