Individuals who attempted to sell counterfeit $10,000 banknotes for $5,000 detained
They handed over 83 units of fake 100 USD bills and said that the rest would be delivered soon.

During an operative event held in cooperation with employees of the PGO Department, the SSS and the DIA, citizens K.R. and A.N. agreed to sell counterfeit 10,000 US dollars to citizen Kh.R. for $5,000, gave him a total of 83 units of counterfeit 100 US dollars banknotes. They promised to deliver the soon. The lawbreakers were caught red-handed when they received $5,000, the Information Service of the PGO Department for Combating Economic Crimes reported.
On this fact, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 176 of the Criminal Code (forgery of money, excise stamps or securities, their transfer). Currently, an investigation is underway.
