3 companies attracted to develop master plan of new Tashkent

They are Singaporean Meinhardt Pte. Ltd., Foster and partner of the UK and OMA of the Netherlands. They have already started practical work.

The presidential decision "On measures to establish the new city of Tashkent" was adopted.

Under the Cabinet of Ministers, the New Tashkent City Establishment Directorate will be established as a state institution. The position of Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Economy - Director of the New Tashkent City Establishment Directorate will be introduced.

In order to establish the new city of Tashkent, the category of certain lands specialized in agriculture in the territory of of Uzbekistan, Dustlik, Surankent, Turkistan, Gulistan, Iyk ota, (Kibray) Nurmuhammedov and Dustlik, Okhunbobev, Kim Pen Hwa blocks from the Urta Chirchik district and the Rice Institute will be changed.

The companies Foster and Partners (Great Britain), OMA (Netherlands) and Meinhardt (Singapore) were involved in the development of the master plan of the new city of Tashkent.

Land plots for the implementation of entrepreneurial and urban development activities, including the construction of multi-apartment houses, production, trade and service facilities, are sold or leased at auctions through the E-auksion electronic trading platform in accordance with the decision of the Coordinating Council.
