UzAuto Motors will temporarily stop production lines at the factory in Asaka, the information service of the company reported.
It is reported that modernization of the factory's production lines is planned in cooperation with 170 specialists from South Korea and other countries.
"This modernization makes it possible to increase the annual production volume of Chevrolet Cobalt cars by an additional 30,000 units," UzAuto Motors reported.
It is promised that these works are planned in advance and will not affect the schedule of delivery of cars to consumers.
It should be noted that at the beginning of December 2022, the conclusion of contracts for budget models - Damas, Labo, Cobalt and Gentra was suspended. It is still unclear when the contracts for these models will begin.
