Uzbekistan Airways JSC, in cooperation with the American “Boeing” company and the Dubai Tourism Council, organized a media tour to Dubai for a number of mass media and bloggers in Uzbekistan on October 7-10.
During four days, participants of the trip had the opportunity to get acquainted with the most interesting places of Dubai, the potential of tourism, the unique culture and values of the local population.
Much has been said and written about this city. You can find as much information as you want on various social networks. However, this land continues to amaze people every time. It has been in the center of attention of the world for several decades with its constant development and wealth of experimental innovations.
On the first day, participants of the media tour visited the Palm building, one of the largest projects in Dubai. From the 52 floors of this building, you can get an idea of the whole city. The famous island of Palma is clearly visible from this building, and it is no exaggeration to say that it is one of the wonders of man-made creation. Especially at night, after the city wakes up, you will witness a long line of people coming to the Palm building to enjoy this beauty.
On the second day of the tour, we visited the ancient area of the city – Al-Fahidi block.
This area was formed two hundred years ago, and efforts have been made to preserve it in its original state. Tourists are introduced here to the culture, customs, antiques, as well as their unique approach to the construction of old buildings.
In the afternoon, we went to the Museum of the Future, which is a unique example of architecture. This museum is one of the 14 most beautiful museums in the world. In this building, you can get acquainted with Dubai’s vision of the future.
This complex is based on the words of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai: “The future is in the hands of those who can envision it, design it, and make it come true. The future is not expected when it will come, it is created by hands”.
On the third day of the tour, we went to “Green Planet”. This building really reminds of a wonderful planet. Inside, such a climate has been created that reminds of a completely different space. You will be amazed by the clean air, flora, fauna and bird life.
The participants of the media tour got acquainted with how Arab national dishes are prepared and the way of life of the indigenous population.
A Safari tour was also organized for journalists and bloggers. A trip to the deserts of Dubai, a falconry show, and wildlife in the open nature also made a special impression. We have witnessed that this direction of tourism attracts visitors from all over the world.
The three-day trip to Dubai taught us a lot. Dubai is not just a beautiful city in the middle of tall buildings and desert. There is order, mutual respect, culture and a high level of comfort for living. In short, Dubai continues to be the capital of the world in terms of development.
