In the last five months of 2022, the most popular names for newborns in Uzbekistan were Soliha and Muhammadali.

It is noted that in January-May 2022, 9,929 girls were named Soliha and 9,567 boys got the name Muhammadali.

These two were also the most popular names given to babies in the first quarter of 2021 (5,114 and 5,236, respectively).

Also in 2020, most newborns were named Soliha (18,616) and Muhammadali (19,393).

In 2018, the most popular names given to babies were Soliha and Mustafa, and in 2017, Madina and Azizbek.
