Counterfeit dollar traffickers detained in Tashkent
The lawbreakers intended to sell 50 counterfeit 100-USD bills for 32 million soums.

In the capital’s Uchtepa district, law enforcement officers held an operative event, during which they detained two citizens who were trying to sell counterfeit banknotes, the press service of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes reported.
They were detained while selling 50 counterfeit 100-USD bills for 32 million soums.
On this fact, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 176 of the Criminal Code (production, sale of counterfeit money, excise stamps or securities). Currently, investigative actions are underway.
