Explosion at Navoiyazot: One dead, eleven injured
An explosion followed by a fire occurred at the Navoiyazot JSC in Navoiy city on March 11, resulting in one fatality and eleven injuries. Emergency services responded swiftly, and the fire was extinguished within 40 minutes.

The explosion took place at 2:10 PM in the laboratory of the 25th workshop at the Navoiyazot plant, caused by the ignition of a gas-air mixture. This triggered a fire, prompting an immediate response from emergency teams.
Ten fire and rescue units arrived at the scene, successfully containing the blaze by 2:50 PM. Emergency personnel, including officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Security Service, and the prosecutor’s office, are actively working at the site.
Medical teams are currently providing assistance to those injured.
An investigation into the cause of the explosion is underway, with updates expected as more information becomes available.
