Costs of charter flights from abroad to Uzbekistan to be partially reimbursed
For every foreign tourist who arrives on a charter flight, the cost of $10 will be paid from the state budget.

The presidential decree “On creating additional conditions for further development of tourism, culture, cultural heritage and sports” was adopted.
According to the document, from January 1, 2022 to January 1, 2023, part of the costs of tourism entities and airlines for the organization of charter flights from foreign countries to Uzbekistan will be reimbursed. If each foreign tourist spends at least five nights in the territory of the republic, the organizer will be reimbursed $10 from the state budget, in winter (From November 20 to February 20) – $25.
In addition, from May 1, 2022, in order to support youth entrepreneurship, at the expense of the state budget allocated to the Fund for Tourism and Sports Support, each entrepreneur will receive grants in the amount of 50 million soums (up to a total of 10 billion soums). Reportedly:
- grant funds will be used to create a modern website that accepts online payments, to participate in tourism exhibitions and fairs abroad;
- grant funds will be allocated in the prescribed manner on the condition of organizing a tour for at least 200 foreign tourists from foreign countries to the Republic of Uzbekistan during three years.
