Private schools to receive 50% utility cost reimbursement for five years

As stipulated by the legislation, entrepreneurs seeking to establish private general secondary education institutions can access loans of up to 20 billion UZS in the national currency. These loans, provided by commercial banks using their own funds, will be offered at market interest rates. To support these initiatives, compensation will be provided for the portion of the interest rate that exceeds the Central Bank’s base rate, capped at 1.5 times the base rate.

Entrepreneurs who either construct new facilities or repurpose their existing premises for private general secondary education activities will benefit from a 50% reimbursement of utility costs directly related to these institutions for a five-year period.

Furthermore, until January 1, 2030, legal entities financing the construction of private general secondary education facilities using their own resources will be entitled to deduct these construction expenses from their taxable profits over two years, in equal installments.
