Journalism and Mass Communications University to be transferred to AIMC
It is planned to reorganize the Agency for Information and Mass Communications (AIMC) on the basis of recommendations of international organizations in the field of freedom of speech and press.

According to the draft Roadmap for the implementation of the development strategy for 2022-2026 in 2022, the AIMC will be accountable to the Oliy Majlis Chambers, it will be reorganized independently of other government agencies and organizations, while maintaining the existing staff units and the terms and amount of remuneration.
The University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan will be transferred to the Agency for Information and Mass Communications.
A system of incentivizing press secretaries of organizations that have achieved high results in the field will be introduced through compiling a rating of transparency of government agencies and organizations and the effectiveness of press secretaries.
