Uzkimyosanoat sustains damage worth about 15 billion soums due to theft
23 employees were prosecuted for 54 violations.

Today, August 14, an AIMC briefing was held with the participation of officials of Uzkimyosanoat JSC.
During the briefing, it was reported that a total of 54 cases of corruption crimes, embezzlement, theft, misappropriations and other violations were detected. As a result, service inspections were conducted on them in the appropriate manner.
It is noted that 23 employees were prosecuted for the above violations. 57 employees were released from their positions, and 120 responsible employees were subject to various disciplinary sanctions.
In the first half of this year, it was noted that a total of 14.8 billion soums of damage was caused to the system as a result of the corruption and looting of company funds detected in Uzkimyosanoat JSC and branch enterprises.
It is also ensured that more than 9.6 billion soums of the total damage caused will be recovered.
Reportedly, in the field of procurement organization, in the processes of formalizing contracts, the formalization of dubious contracts, such as restriction of the competitive environment, collusion of participants, non-compliance with evaluation criteria, was prevented.
As a result of the measures taken, unjustified spending of 5.9 billion soums was prevented, Rustambek Eshbekov, head of the Uzkimyosanoat JSC information service, said.
