Consulates general of Uzbekistan to be opened in 9 cities

It is planned to expand the range of services of diplomatic missions and consular posts of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad.

According to the Roadmap for the implementation of the development strategy for 2022-2026 in 2022, new consulates of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad will be established. 

In particular, the consulates general of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be opened in Samara, Astrakhan, Tula, Kaliningrad and Nizhny Novgorod in the Russian Federation, Shymkent in Kazakhstan, Prague in the Czech Republic, Ottawa in Canada and Busan in the Republic of Korea.

It is also planned to increase the staff of the Consulates General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Russian Federation (St. Petersburg, Vladivostok, Kazan, Rostov-on-Don, Novosibirsk and Ekaterinburg), the United States in New York, Frankfurt am Main in Germany and Istanbul in Turkey.

One new consular staff will be added to the embassies in Moscow, Russia, Warsaw, Poland, and the United Arab Emirates.
