The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan has developed a mobile application Consular Services of UZB.
The application was created to help citizens of Uzbekistan with consular services during trips abroad. It has the following functions:
• search for embassies and consulates of Uzbekistan around the world in a catalog or on an interactive map;
• contact details of diplomatic missions, including addresses, phone numbers, email and websites;
• services available at a specific mission (visa services, passport renewal, types of consular assistance, etc.)
One can download the application in the Android version at the link (for version 4.4 and higher). The iOS version will appear later.
In April, Shavkat Mirziyoyev issued a decree providing for the creation of an application for labor migrants. It is expected that it will have information about other countries and vacancies, a money transfer function, and assistance to those in difficult situations.
Prior to this, the president ordered to send attachés on labor migration issues to some embassies and consulates of Uzbekistan. He also set the task of opening call centers in diplomatic missions to promptly assist Uzbeks abroad.
