This was announced by the presidential press secretary Sherzod Asadov.

According to him, on the eve of the 30th anniversary of the independence of the republic, in accordance with presidential decrees, the heads of the following diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan in foreign countries were assigned the highest diplomatic rank of ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary:

- Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China Bakhtiyor Odilovich Saidov;
- Ambassador to the Republic of Turkey Alisher Anvarovich Agzamhodjaev;
- Ambassador to the United States of America Javlon Abdujalolovich Vakhabov;
- Ambassador to the Russian Federation Botirjon Zakirovich Asadov;
- Ambassador to the Republic of Korea Vitaly Vasilyevich Fen;
- Ambassador to the State of Kuwait Bakhrom Juraboyevich Aloyev.

According to the law  “On the Establishment of Diplomatic Classes and Ranks for Diplomatic Workers of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, the diplomatic ranks of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the first and second classes are assigned by the presidential decrees.

The ranks of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary are assigned for life.
