Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov holds talks with President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov in Bishkek

On February 27, the Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov, who arrived in Bishkek on a working visit, was received by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov.
According to the MFA press service, the minister conveyed the message of Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Sadyr Japarov.
During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on the development of bilateral relations in the political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres. In addition, issues of further strengthening security, stability and good-neighborliness that have developed in Central Asia in recent years were considered.
It was also noted that there are ample opportunities for the creation of a transport corridor that provides the shortest access to seaports and new external markets, contributing to the intensification of interregional trade, an increase in transit cargo flows, and a decrease in the cost of transporting raw materials, equipment and finished products.
“Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting,” the Foreign Ministry concluded its statement.
