Uzbekistan provides new discounts to foreign airlines

When implementing a special program on “Ziyorat-tourism” for the purpose of transporting pilgrims, Uzbekistan will grant foreign airlines a discount of up to 50% to published tariffs for basic services on ground maintenance of aircraft at international airports, Uzbekistan Airports JSC reports.
In addition, in order to expand the geographical scope and improve the attractiveness of Uzbekistan’s airports, foreign airlines are granted a differential discount of up to 30% on published tariffs for basic ground-handling services:
- for newly launched foreign airlines when operating flights in new directions and developing routes
to international airports of Uzbekistan;
- on new routes for existing foreign airlines operating flights to/from regional airports of Uzbekistan;
- for increasing frequencies of currently operating flights.
