A presidential decree “On measures to attract qualified specialists to budgetary organizations in remote areas” has been adopted, the Ministry of Justice reports.
According to the document, from January 1, 2021, the following benefits are provided in remote areas:
• a one-time incentive pay in the amount of 50 BCAs (11 million 150 thousand soums) and monthly monetary compensation for renting housing in the amount of 2 BCAs (446 thousand soums) to specialists with higher education, hired by budgetary organizations;
• a one-time incentive pay in the amount of 30 million soums to doctors hired by family polyclinics provided that they agree to work for at least 3 years at the assigned polyclinic. Those who do not have housing are provided with service housing for 3 years or are paid monthly monetary compensation in the amount of 2 BCAs (446 thousand soums).
One-time incentive pay and monthly monetary compensation are not included in the total income of the taxpayer and are not considered subject to personal income tax.
Monthly monetary compensations for housing are paid for up to 36 months from the month of starting the job. When transferring from one budgetary organization and (or) a medical institution located in a remote and inaccessible area to a corresponding other organization, the payment of a monthly monetary compensation to a specialist and (or) a medical worker with higher education continues until the end of the established period.
