Housing Minister Muzaffar Soliyev dismissed, two high-ranking officials reprimanded
The Minister of Housing and Communal Services Muzaffar Soliyev has been dismissed, the chairman of the State Committee for Roads Abdurakhmon Abduvaliyev has been reprimanded. In addition, the Minister of Construction Botir Zokirov received a warning.
On January 4, on behalf of the head of state, Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov and head of the presidential administration Zaynilobiddin Nizomiddinov held a meeting on the results of work in 2020 and the priority tasks for 2021.
Following the meeting, the President was provided with relevant information. On the basis of this, on January 5, the head of state adopted a decree on the dismissal of the Minister of Housing and Communal Services Muzaffar Soliyev for shortcomings in his work.

Also, Shavkat Mirziyoyev reprimanded the chairman of the State Committee for Roads Abdurakhmon Abduvaliyev and issued a warning to the Minister of Construction Botir Zokirov.

According to the source in the government, Abdurakhmon Abduvaliyev was instructed to eliminate shortcomings in his work within six months. Otherwise, the question of his suitability for the position held will be reconsidered.
