Olimjon Umarov appointed Adviser to the Prime Minister
Olimjon Umarov has been appointed Adviser to the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan as the Head of the Department for Development of Information Technologies, Telecommunications and Innovative Activities.

First Deputy Minister of Information Technologies and Communications, Olimjon Umarov, has been appointed Adviser to the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan. He now heads the Department for Development of Information Technologies, Telecommunications and Innovative Activities, MITC press service reported.
Olimjon Umarov was born in 1985 in Tashkent. He graduated from the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek in 2007, and in 2017 – from Sungkyunkwan University (Republic of Korea).
He has served as First Deputy Minister of Information Technologies and Communications since the summer of 2017.
