“At present, only foreigners who have a residence permit in the Russian Federation, close relatives – citizens of Russia, or participants in the state program for the resettlement of compatriots can travel to the RF,” the diplomatic mission said in a statement.
To obtain permission to leave, one must fill out the appropriate form by May 27.
“We draw attention to the fact that the decision on the passage of citizens across the border of the republic is made exclusively by the authorities of Uzbekistan,” the consular department noted.
It should be recalled that on March 16, Uzbekistan closed its borders for international traffic (air, road, rail). In addition, Uzbekistan imposed a complete ban on the entry of foreigners and the departure of citizens from the country.
