Defense Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhodir Kurbanov to visit Tajikistan
On March 14, Defense Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhodir Kurbanov will visit Dushanbe to observe the final phase of a joint anti-terror military exercise being conducted in Tajikistan for servicemen of Uzbek and Tajik Special Forces, Asia-Plus reports citing a source in the defense department.

As part of the trip, Kurbonov will visit the Fakhrabad military training ground, where the joint anti-terror exercises of the Special Forces are taking place.
Tajik Defense Minister Sherali Mirzo is in overall command of the ongoing joint war game, the purpose of which is to rehearse coordination and interaction in combat missions on destroying terrorist groups at the common border.
It is expected that the Defense Ministers of the two countries, Bakhodir Kurbanov and Sherali Mirzo, will discuss the prospects for the development of relations in the military-technical sphere.
