In Uzbekistan, facilities will be created for electric vehicles, which includes the construction of charging stations for them, the resolution said.
“Within two months, requirements will be made to create conditions for electric vehicles,” the report says.
In addition, the development of service projects as well as public and business areas will include the following requirements:
- allocation of at least 5% of space in the area for parking electric vehicles equipped with electric charging stations;
- ensuring that the number of charging facilities in the area correspondents to the allotted parking space (total capacity should be at least 11 kW);
- designing the allocated space with corresponding signs.
