Uzbekistan imported over $500 million worth of passenger cars over 11 months
The State Statistics Committee has provided information on the import of passenger cars and electric vehicles for 11 months of this year.

According to the committee, in January-November 2021, Uzbekistan imported 23,155 cars worth $502.8 million from 25 foreign countries.
The cars were imported mainly from the following countries:
• China - 6,963
• Korea - 5,630
• Russia - 4,167
• Kazakhstan - 3,731
• Poland - 1,204
• USA - 479
• Lithuania - 427
• Thailand - 250
• Germany - 103
• Japan - 88
The import of passenger cars decreased by 179 units compared to the same period last year, the committee says.
In addition, during the reporting period, Uzbekistan imported 689 electric vehicles. Compared to 2020, imports of EVs increased by 7 times.
