Private employment agency employees detained for attempting to send people abroad illegally

Fraudsters demanding $35,000 for “services” to arrange employment of five people in the Republic of Korea have been detained. 

Representatives of a private employment agency seeking $35,000 from five people by promising to send them to South Korea for work were detained by the joint action of the Department under the Prosecutor General’s Office and the State Security Service.

According to the press service of the PG, “M.I. and T.I., employees of  ’O. Private Employment Agency’ LLC., requested total of $35,000 from citizens I.A. and L.K. for their four sons and one nephew, $7000 for each, to be send illegally to the Republic of Korea without proper documentation. The employees were detained with material evidences while receiving $17,000 by swindle.”

Furthermore, the head of “A.Visa” LLC, Sh.A., was detained during the raid on the moment of receiving $2,500 in advance for arranging the illegal ingress of above mentioned five people into the Korea Republic for labor. 

Legal proceedings have been initiated on the above facts in accordance with the Criminal Code. Investigation is underway.
