Uzbekistan invited to Tirana International Energy Charter Forum

The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Benelux countries Dilyor Khakimov met in Brussels with the Secretary General of the Energy Charter Secretariat Urban Rusnák, the Foreign Ministry said.
The Energy Charter Secretariat regulates issues of international cooperation in the field of energy, including investment, transit and energy efficiency.
During the meeting, prospects for cooperation in modernizing the Energy Charter Treaty and a schedule of upcoming meetings under the auspices of the Energy Charter were considered.
Following the talks, the Uzbek side was invited to the Tirana International Energy Charter Forum, which will be held on December 10, 2019.
