Sherzod Kudbiyev becomes adviser to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev

According to the decree of the President of Uzbekistan dated August 29, 2019, Sherzod Kudbiyev has been appointed as Presidential Adviser on issues of public service and cooperation with representative authorities.

In this regard, he was relieved of his post as Minister of Employment and Labor Relations of the country.

Sherzod Kudbiev was born in 1981 in the Fergana region. In 2000, he graduated from Fergana Polytechnic Institute with a degree in finance and credit. Until 2007, he worked in various positions at this institute. He began his career at the Ministry of Employment and Social Protection in 2007 as a senior specialist in the management of the effective and targeted use of funds from the Employment Promotion Fund. In subsequent years, he held various positions in the ministry system.

In 2016-2018, he served as khokim of Tashkent’s Mirzo Ulugbek district.

In April 2018, he was appointed Minister of Employment and Labor Relations.
