The following outlines the timeline for the "Initiative Budget" process:

- Project submission phase: February 1–20;
- Selection phase: February 21–March 7;
- Promotion phase: March 8–10;
- Voting phase: March 11–20.

The winners of this year's first season will be revealed on March 21.

Earlier, the Senate Council made amendments to the existing rules governing the "Initiative Budget" process. According to the new guidelines, every year, at least 10 and no more than 30 projects will be allocated sufficient funds from the district and city budgets. If there are more than 10 projects, the funds will be distributed based on the proportion of the population in each district or city.

It’s also worth noting that the voting process for the first season of the "Initiative Budget" in 2024 started on March 13 at 00:00 and ran until April 1 at 23:59. Last year, 3.02 trillion UZS were allocated to the projects.
