Chairman of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan Kakhramon Kuranbayev relieved of his post. This was reported by a Kun.uz source.

On August 29, a meeting of the Youth Union was held, at which Kuranbayev’s resignation was announced.

Kakhramon Kuranbayev has been leading the Youth Union since its inception on June 30, 2017. The Youth Union was created to replace the “Kamolot” Youth Movement.

As noted by the source, Alisher Sadullayev, who had previously served as First Deputy Chairman of the Youth Union, was appointed interim chairman of the organization.
