International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan ready to enroll foreign citizens without entrance exams

The International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan has announced the start of enrollment for foreign citizens to study in the 2019-2020 academic year in undergraduate programs.
According to the MFA, foreign applicants are exempt from entrance exams and are enrolled on the basis of an interview. Foreign students will receive education in Uzbek or Russian at their discretion. Classes in religious and social subjects will be conducted by leading professors and teachers.
At the Academy one can get education in the following areas and specialties:
Bachelor’s programs (4 years):
- Economy of foreign countries and country studies (Muslim countries);
- International Relations;
- Tourism (Pilgrimage Tourism);
- Islamic Studies (Quran tudies, Hadith Studies, Islamic Law, Aqeedah and Sufism, History and source study of Islam);
- Religious Studies;
- Psychology (Sociopsychology of Religion);
- Philology and Language Teaching (Arabic).
