International Islamic Academy expands cooperation with universities of Turkey

In the Republic of Turkey, the delegation led by the rector of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan professor Shukhrat Yovkochev signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation with the Research Centre for Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA) of Turkey and Istanbul University.
In addition, the delegation agreed to cooperate with one of the largest libraries in Turkey – the Süleymaniye Library in Istanbul on creating the catalog of manuscripts of the Mawarannahr scholars.
At the same time, the delegation of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, continuing their business trip in Ankara city, met with representatives of the Turkish Religious Affairs Department and got closely acquainted with activities of the religious education institutions, especially the system of training, retraining and upgrading qualification of imam-khatibs.
