Cold water tariffs in rise. Again

Cold water tariffs for the people of Tashkent have increased starting from April 24. Enterprise “Suvsoz” reported this only on April 25.
According to the decision of Tashkent khokim No. 499 dated April 2, 2019, new tariffs are being introduced for consumers in Tashkent, moreover, a special surcharge is introduced to tariffs for drinking water supply services for 2018 in the amount of 100 soums per cubic meter.
Residents of high-rise buildings with central hot water supply will have to pay 1,050 soums for 1 cubic meter of cold water, without a central hot water supply - 715 soums.
In private homes, the cost of 1 cubic meter of cold water (with sewage system) will be 715 soums, without sewage system - 380 soums.
Residents of houses with sewers, internal plumbing, sink, toilet, bath or shower with local water heating devices now have to pay 9,083.15 soums (previously - 8,933.22) per person. From May 1, the cost of water will rise again to 10,116.43 soums.
Residential houses and sectional dormitories with water supply, sewage system and centralized hot water supply pay 10,263 soums (previously - 9,937.13) in April and 11,944.63 soums - in May.
