New tariffs for drinking water in the region (1 cubic meter):
• For residents – 3,100 soums;
• For heat supply, religious organizations, etc. – 3,472 soums;
• For budget organizations – 7,840 soums;
• For other consumers – 7,840 soums.
Technical water (1 cubic meter):
• For residents – 1,500 soums;
• For other consumers – 1,680 soums.
Sewage service (1 cubic meter):
• For residents – 2,800 soums;
• For heat supply, religious organizations, etc. – 3,136 soums;
• For budget organizations – 5,376 soums;
• For other consumers – 5,376 soums.
According to the information of the Uzsuvtaminot JSC, in the last six years, the coverage of centralized water supply in the Bukhara region has increased from 51% to 73.1%, and sewage services have increased from 9.2% to 16%.
In the near future, it is planned to increase the supply of drinking water to 95% and sewerage to 40%. Also, 95 pumping stations and 8 treatment facilities will be built, 89 pieces of special equipment will be purchased.
At the end of November 2023, the Tashkent city council approved an increase in tariffs for drinking water supply and wastewater services in the capital.
Tariffs for drinking water were increased in Surkhandarya and Kashkadarya regions from August 1, and in Tashkent region from August 20. Tariffs were increased in Fergana and Samarkand regions from mid-November, and in Khorezm region from November 3.
In Karakalpakstan, drinking water and wastewater services will increase from January 15.
