Around 30 Uzbek military personnel to go through training exercises in Russia

About 30 officers of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan will be trained in February-March on the basis of a tank division stationed in the Chelyabinsk region. This was announced by the commander of the Central Military District (CMD), Lieutenant-General Alexander Lapin.
“In accordance with the plan of international military cooperation, a group of 27 tactical-level officers from Uzbekistan will attend military training exercises in the Chelyabinsk region on the basis of the Ural armored division,” said the commander.
“During the internship of our Uzbek colleagues we will focus on the new methods of action of the troops, including the fight by unmanned aerial vehicles and sabotage and reconnaissance groups both by day and night,” he added.
Earlier it was reported that in February last year in the Central Military District, a military internship was conducted with the participation of the commander of the Tashkent Military District of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
